Loreal goes Vegan: Botanea Colour Line

In the world of today, it’s safe to say everyone is getting to a point where they’re more aware of the earth we inhabit, and co share with all the plants and animals. We are a lot more cautious over healthy living, and respecting all living things around us, which is just great.

Loreal have let these new ways of living and thinking heavily implement their planning and creating of their new 100% plant based colour range, Botanea. Penned as the colour that’s taking Loreal vegan, this new range is perfect for anyone wanting to stay on the natural side of cosmetics and beauty, but also anyone who’s vegetarian or vegan and unsure of what products are compatible with their lifestyle choices. A mix of professionalism and naturalness has resulted in the combination of 3 essential herbs from India being used to colour the hair, rather than the usual formulas of tint. These plants consist of; Cassia, Henna and Indigo, all with set jobs within the process of colouring the hair such as the deposition of tones and the development of depth.

The three herbal components can be intermixed as many times as necessary to achieve the perfect sought after colour, which means we are getting an infinite palette from just three jars of plants. I won’t bore you with the exact sciences behind this break through new brand, because who cares as long as its work right? But all you need to know is, it’s 100 % vegan, 100% natural, even down the oxidant being just water. Anyone who is allergic to colour, although its pretty much definite an allergic reaction should not occur, we do have to patch test 48 hours prior to application just to ensure you’re not allergic to the plants used in production, but we keep our fingers crossed for you, as this would be the perfect solution for anyone who’s had barriers presented in the hair colouring world due to allergies and sensitivities.

Keep your eyes peeled, once we have attended our in depth induction sessions at the Loreal Academy where we will study and focus in on each point and factor about each plant, we will be offering this service on the shop floor.
